That's right....he will be 6 months old on Sunday the 15th. Hard to believe, but he is growing quickly and is doing great!
We had his 6 month appointment today. He weighs 20.4 lbs....he's 26.5 inches long and his head is 18 1/8 inches.
He was 18.6 lbs, 25.5 inches and his head was 17 3/8 inches at his 4 month appointment.
He is in the 95th percentile for his head and weight and 50% for his height, which means he is short and fat and Paul said to the doctor, "Just like me." We couldn't help but chuckle of course.
He got his last set of shots until he is 15 months old. He will go back at 9 months of age.
We did find out though that he does have an ear infection. He will be on amoxicillin for 10 days. She said it might explain why he hasn't slept well for the last 3-4 weeks since he's been home from the hospital when he was admitted for RSV. She said it may be irritating him. It wasn't bulging yet, but was rather close to it.
Katelinn was NOT scheduled to be seen today, but the doctor glanced at her and in ONE look, ONE tiny look she immediately said, "Your nose is all boogery, you have Impetigo!"
I immediately flipped out. Her nose was like that, if not worse, when I took her in last Monday. The doctor would NOT give me a straight answer when I asked her about it, she said it had to do with her ear infection and cold.
I hate to even think about what would have happened had she not gone in there.
All in all it was a good appointment. He's growing well.
