Our Trip To Blank Park Zoo

On the last weekend of July we decided to take a family trip.  We wanted to go to Omaha, but Paul wasn't sure he could get the time off work so we stuck closer to home.  We chose to go and see the animals and the Dinosaur exhibit at Blank Park Zoo.

We got a late start, but when we finally got there the kids were absolutely excited!!  We walked around and saw all the animals, some new from the last time we were there and some the same from when we were there.  The last time we visited this zoo was in 2008 when I was pregnant with Kaleb.

Kaleb LOVES Dinosaurs so when I said something about going and seeing the Dinosaurs he absolutely LOVED the idea.  He wouldn't stop talking about the Dinosaurs and it was just so much fun to see him excited about something...he's at that age where he knows what he likes and what he doesn't and I LOVE it. 

We had a good time at the zoo, it was about a 3 hour thing and the kids did well.  We did some shopping after the zoo and headed home.
