So since the weekend was a holiday weekend we decided to utilize it and go fishing. We fished for a few hours Saturday night after mom's graduation, but didn't get anything worth keeping. We don't keep the tiny fish, no point in it.
Sunday we went fishing, but again, didn't catch much of anything.....just itty bitty fish.
Monday we decided to go again. The girls went to my mom's and so we took Kaleb and went fishing. Wouldn't you know we actually caught something worth keeping! Unfortunately we weren't able to bring it home because we didn't have a bucket! I can't believe we didn't have ANYTHING to keep it in to get it home, but we didn't. So we threw it back, but before we did that we had a picture!
Paul is the one that caught it. It was a walleye....about 12-13 inches and a few pounds.
I caught some blue gill and a carp, but carp isn't something you really keep unless you know how to cook it right. They are the UGLIEST looking fish......
Anyway, it was a good weekend all in all and we had a good time. Kaleb enjoyed it as well! He caught his first fish. Even touched it!
