This year our Halloween was A LOT more fun. Katelinn and Kaleb both are old enough now to kind of understand the concept of trick or treating. Katelinn was excited and had more of the hang of it than Kaleb did. Kaleb was somewhat skeptic at some places because of costumes, decorations and what not, but he had a great time!
This year Hannah was Hannah Montana (sort of). Katelinn was Cookie Monster and Kaleb was an Iowa Hawkeye Football Player/Fan. He didn't have a helmet to be a 100% football player because his head is so darn huge LOL. That is why I put fan after player.....he's a definite football boy the way he stares at the games when we play.
We went trick or treating in our town on Thursday (don't ask why they did it then, but they did) and then on Saturday we went to my hometown. It was definitely a lot nicer weather wise at the hometown, but the trick or treating is TONS better here in our town. There weren't many houses, but the kids still had a good time. They loved going and seeing people they knew and visiting my grandparents and parents showing off their costumes. They were absolutely adorable. We had the fun of having our friends Katie, James and Maya with us as well. The kids had a good time and we all came back here for pizza. It was a long day, but the kids had fun and that's what mattered.
