After 10 Months, We Said "See Ya Later" To An Awesome Person

This past school year my parents decided to host a foreign exchange student.  They were all excited and ready for it.  Little did we know how hard it would be to have him go back home to his country after all was said and done.

Ervin came into our lives a friend and left as family.  He will always be a part of our family.  The kids call him Uncle Ervin and I am proud to consider him a brother as well.


The kids spent a lot of time with Ervin when they'd go to my parents house.  They were always excited to hear that Uncle Ervin would be there to hang out with and play fun games with.  Now believe me, even though the kids were there, Ervin wasn't distracted at all......he spent a lot of time with them while doing his own thing.

Christmas was fun, birthdays, parties of any kind and when it got closer for him to go home we found a lot of fun things to do the last few days.  We went to Fun City as a family to do all sorts of things, we had a going away party for him over the weekend and we had a family dinner the night before departure.  We sure do miss him like crazy!
